Common Questions

Fee questions, answered.

When is the annual fee billed?

The $349.95 annual fee is billed once per year on the anniversary of your account opening. New accounts pay the $50 setup fee plus the first annual fee at funding.

Is the annual fee prorated if I open or close mid-year?

No. The annual fee is a flat charge tied to the account anniversary, not a calendar year. If you close the account before the next anniversary, the fee already paid covers the period through that date.

What happens if my balance drops below the $325 minimum?

The minimum balance requirement is enforced at billing. If the cash balance is below $325 when fees are due, we contact you to deposit the difference before processing the charge. We do not liquidate held assets to cover fees.

Are fees calculated on assets under administration?

No. Accuplan does not bill based on account size or the number of assets you hold. The flat $349.95 annual fee is the same whether you hold one asset or twenty, and whether the account is $50,000 or $5 million.

What is the difference between an ACH and a Wire Transfer fee?

ACH transfers cost $5.00 each way and typically settle in two to three business days. Wire transfers cost $33.95 and usually settle the same business day if requested before the daily cutoff.

What does the Document Review fee cover?

Document Review applies when our team reads investment paperwork on your behalf, including operating agreements, subscription documents, promissory notes, and deeds of trust. The rate is $200 per hour with a $25 minimum, billed in increments based on actual time spent.
